I had always wanted to hike to Abram's Falls (pictured above) and Joey and I made the trek last October. It was a beautiful time of the year for hiking and the 5 mile round trip journey was well worth it!

Mountains on My Mind
The warm spell this week has me thinking about summer and the beach. But the cool evenings have the mountains on my mind and me wishing I was in the Great Smokies! I can't wait until we are able to go back! There is just something peaceful and relaxing about this place.

Let's let the family go to the beach where it is hot and sandy and salty, and you and I and the boys can take a wrong turn north and head to Gatlinburg! I love the mountains as they sing forth praises to the God who created them! Preacher
